Why this project exists

Graphe started from a simple idea: turning data into a meaningful visual shouldn't require formulas and hours of tweaking. You upload a file, write one sentence, and get a chart you can drop straight into a report.

It is a personal project, not a company. I designed and built it end to end to practice full stack development with Next.js, covering everything from the database and API design to AI integration and the canvas editor itself.

No revenue is made from Graphe in any form: there is nothing to buy, and nothing here is monetized. Think of it as a hands on learning ground and portfolio piece rather than a business.

Your data & privacy

• The raw data files you upload to generate a chart (CSV, Excel, JSON) are never stored in our database. They stay in your browser and are only sent, at the moment of generation, to the AI provider (Google Gemini or Groq) to produce your chart.
• The canvases, charts and images you choose to save are stored so you can come back to your own work. They are tied to your account and are never visible to other users.
• Your data is never sold, shared with third parties for advertising, or used to train any model.
• AI-generated charts and summaries can be wrong. Always double-check figures that matter before you rely on them.
